I shall miss the gentle, unhurried ways in which trust is woven through daily life here. Small kindnesses are taken for granted, necessities shared without question or hesitation, and bartering commonplace.

...it’s difficult to explain the feeling of being where you truly feel most comfortable, greeting people daily that you don’t know and may never see again, in a place you thoroughly and unexpectedly enjoy.  The moral of the story is… if you feel it – like, truly feel it in your gut - go for it. Your only regret will be not having given it a shot sooner.
