An old Scottish favourite made using a 60-year-old recipe, our Clootie Dumpling is a 5-hour labour of love for those who enjoy its distinctive appearance and flavour. Boiled in a cloth and finished in the oven, the Clootie Dumpling was often served still warm with butter as a treat to small outstretched hands and is still made the traditional way in many households today. Excellent on its own, as a pudding or fried with a cooked breakfast. Ahhh... nostalgia.
